We highly recommend that all speakers submit papers in hard copy and electronic format. CompanyShortName offers a complete publishing service to conference organizers. This service addresses every phase of publishing Conference Proceedings at a very competitive price. The Publishing ProcessPublishing Electronic Conference Proceedings is a lengthy process typically one to six months. The following is a simplified outline for the process. Note: The program manger will keep track of all papers submitted and coordinate it with the conference coordinator. CompanyShortName will scan hard copy documents using high-speed scanners. The 300 dpi images will then be converted to portable document format (PDF) files for inclusion on the CD-ROM. The documents will retain their original look and feel. CompanyShortName will create table of contents, index, and other submitted material. An electronic guide can be published to assist users with navigating the CD-ROM. The guide can include Hypertext links between Table of Contents and index. Bookmarks can be created for each section/Track. (Multi Media data such as Digital Video and/or sound can be included on the CD-ROM) The Acrobat Reader can be included on the CD-ROM. Acrobat supports Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows 95/98, UNIX, and Macintosh. The CD-ROM produced is an ISO 9660 disc. The CD-ROM will have a 2 color (more colors are available for an additional charge) label silk screen on it. A fully functional prototype CD-R will be provided for review prior to mastering and replication.
